Finished Tree

We spent all of Sunday putting lights on the tree and hanging ornaments. I love having all the lights on at night and enjoying these dark and twinkly nights!

This past weekend we drove just outside of Bridgeport to meet my dad to get our Christmas tree. This is the first time that we have all went as a family! I did not realize how hard it is to find a perfect tree.


















It was a good thing that my dad has a chainsaw!

Twinkle Twinkle

John gets to take all the credit for our outside lights. He is quite the perfectionist about hiding cords and making sure that all extention cords match the ground they will be laying on :) Green for grass, white for the house, etc.

We keep adding toour display and hoping to keep up with the neighbors for the "Parade of Lights" in Hidden Valley!

Trick-or-Treat

The girls has a great time Trick-or-Treating and despite warnings of rain it ended up being a beautiful night. Every scary costume had Ashlynn screaming and shaking..it had us all laughing but the poor think must have been frightened. She would stop dead in her tracks and let out this huge scream and run each time she saw a scary mask!

Here are some cute pictures of the little princesses! I have to admit we had the costumes and it was easier to have them wear these then buy new ones. I am saving up since I know the days are limited until they decide they have to have new costumes each year :)

One of the last....

Ok, we may be some of the last people to upgrade to a HD TV, but we finally did it! For an early Christmas present to John and I we bought a new 61" TV.

Koala Bear 2!

After taking off the summer from swim lessons, we just started back up at Silver Bear Swim School. Jaiden was in the pool this summer a few times a week and she has become quite the little tadpole! After just two lessons she graduated from a Koala 1 to a Koala 2...she was so excited to ring their graduation bell during class. Here a few picture sof our little tadpole. Ashlynn can't start until next year, yet she is dying to get in the pool too!

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday Jaiden's school had a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. I had to work so Grandma Lo Lo took the girls..I sent her with my camera.

Disneyland 2008

We just got back from our second trip to Disneyland! What a magical place..I think we all enjoyed it just as much as the girls. My parents, John's mom and my sister all went with us for the second time and it makes it so much easier.

Jaiden and Ashlynn love their princess dresses and changed their dresses for each of the 3 days we were there. They have this Princess Fantasy Faire..where you wait for hours to see the princesses one on one and wouldn't you know are luck that both princesses that the girls were dressed like were there.

New little venture....

After thinking about doing this for about 6 months..I finally set up this blog. I thought it would be a great way to keep in touch with our friends and family. Give me some time to work out all the kinks, but it should be fun.
