The Little Fishy....

Jaiden has been doing swim lessons for about a year now and poor little Ashlynn has just had to watch. Well, the time has come..they agreed to let me start her by herself even though she is not 3 yet! Well, we disovered that we have a little fish on our hands. Her first day in the water she was off and swimming..she kind of shocked us all including her instructor :)

Wind..Sun..Wind

Spring in Reno has arrived..One day Sunny, next day windy, next day snowing, next day sunny, AHHHH! Can we just have a week of nice sunny days?

Since we couldn't get outside to play we decided we could start working on our Easter eggs! I did not realize that the kit I bought was only glitter paint..no dye..oh well they loved until. All was going well until they dropped a egg and we discovered that mom didn't cook them long enough. So we finished painting and trashed them :) We will break out the dye and more eggs tonight :)

Gymnastics

Ok, so it has been forever since I posted anything but I took my camera to the girls gymnastics class today. Both of them have been going for a couple months now and love it! It is great having them both be old enough to go on their own. Here are a few of their tricks :)

Finished Tree

We spent all of Sunday putting lights on the tree and hanging ornaments. I love having all the lights on at night and enjoying these dark and twinkly nights!

Oh.. Christmas Tree Oh.. Christmas Tree

This past weekend we drove just outside of Bridgeport to meet my dad to get our Christmas tree. This is the first time that we have all went as a family! I did not realize how hard it is to find a perfect tree.


















It was a good thing that my dad has a chainsaw!

Twinkle Twinkle

John gets to take all the credit for our outside lights. He is quite the perfectionist about hiding cords and making sure that all extention cords match the ground they will be laying on :) Green for grass, white for the house, etc.

We keep adding toour display and hoping to keep up with the neighbors for the "Parade of Lights" in Hidden Valley!

Trick-or-Treat

The girls has a great time Trick-or-Treating and despite warnings of rain it ended up being a beautiful night. Every scary costume had Ashlynn screaming and shaking..it had us all laughing but the poor think must have been frightened. She would stop dead in her tracks and let out this huge scream and run each time she saw a scary mask!

Here are some cute pictures of the little princesses! I have to admit we had the costumes and it was easier to have them wear these then buy new ones. I am saving up since I know the days are limited until they decide they have to have new costumes each year :)
